Pool & Jacuzzi Rules
To ensure the safety, hygiene, comfort, and peace of all guests, the use of the pool, jacuzzi, and surrounding areas is subject to the following rules. Any use of these facilities implies compliance with these rules, the house rules, and the instructions provided by Villa Danatea.
These rules are primarily in place to ensure everyone's safety, preserve the facilities, and guarantee a pleasant stay. With normal and respectful use of the pool and jacuzzi, you will be able to fully enjoy the facilities in complete peace.
Access Hours
The pool and jacuzzi area is accessible from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Swimming is strictly prohibited between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Access is reserved for registered occupants of the stay and persons previously authorized by Villa Danatea.
No Lifeguard on Duty
The pool and jacuzzi are not supervised by a lifeguard or by Villa Danatea staff. Each user must adopt prudent behavior and comply with the safety instructions posted on-site.
Children & Supervision
Minors under 16 years of age may only access the pool in the presence of a responsible adult who can swim. Children must never be left alone in the water or near the pool, even for a few moments.
Safety Alarm
The pool is equipped with a safety alarm. Its use must comply with the instructions provided by Villa Danatea. It is prohibited to disable it, modify it, or intentionally prevent it from functioning.
Reactivation of the Alarm
When normal use of the pool requires temporary deactivation of the alarm, occupants must ensure its reactivation as soon as swimming ends, in accordance with the instructions provided. The alarm never replaces attentive adult supervision.
Safety Around the Pool
Running around the pool, pushing, throwing a person into the water, or any behavior likely to cause a fall, injury, or drowning is prohibited.
Diving, Jumping & Games
Diving, dangerous jumping, rough play, and behavior likely to endanger users are prohibited. Each person must take into account the depth of the pool and their swimming ability.
Hygiene & Attire
A shower is mandatory before each swim. Clean and appropriate swimwear must be worn. The use of soap, shampoo, or any other hygiene product in the pool or jacuzzi is prohibited.
Babies & Young Children
Babies must wear a diaper specifically designed for swimming. They must remain under the constant and close supervision of a responsible adult.
Food, Glass & Cigarettes
It is prohibited to bring food into the pool or jacuzzi, beverages, cigarettes, or any glass container or object. Sharp or fragile objects are also prohibited in the immediate vicinity of the pool.
Alcohol & Substances
It is prohibited to use the pool or jacuzzi when one's alertness, balance, or reaction time is impaired, particularly by alcohol, drugs, or any other substance likely to affect safety.
Prohibited Objects
Sharp objects, stones, dangerous equipment, as well as structures or large inflatables likely to obstruct visibility, movement, or safety in the pool are prohibited.
Technical Installations
Access to the technical room is strictly prohibited to occupants. It is also prohibited to handle electrical installations, pumps, filters, heating equipment, water treatment devices, or any other technical equipment.
Outdoor Furniture
Outdoor furniture must be used for its intended purpose and kept in good condition. It is strictly prohibited to place in the pool or jacuzzi chairs, sun loungers, tables, or any other furniture.
Using the Jacuzzi
The jacuzzi is intended for relaxation. Children may only use it under the constant supervision of an adult. The control button must be operated only by an adult. Jumping, diving, rough play, and intentional splashing are prohibited.
Jacuzzi Usage Duration
Each jacuzzi session is limited to 40 minutes. A rest period of at least 15 minutes must be observed before restarting the system to preserve the proper functioning of the installation.
Health Precautions
Due in particular to the water temperature of the jacuzzi, certain individuals may require special precautions, including pregnant women, young children, or persons with cardiovascular conditions or health issues. If in doubt, consult a healthcare professional.
Quiet & Neighborhood
The pool and jacuzzi area is a place for relaxation. Shouting, excessive noise, and behavior likely to disturb the neighborhood are prohibited. Quiet is mandatory between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
Private Areas
Areas designated as private or off-limits to the public must be respected. No occupant may cross signs, barriers, or markings indicating these areas.
Outdoor Video Surveillance
Certain outdoor areas of Villa Danatea are equipped with video surveillance for the safety of persons and property. The processing of images is carried out in accordance with applicable regulations and the information provided to occupants.
Incident or Malfunction
Any accident, malfunction, damage, or anomaly concerning the pool, jacuzzi, alarm, or associated equipment must be reported immediately to Villa Danatea. If there is any doubt about safety, use of the facility in question must be discontinued.
Damage
Any damage attributable to occupants or persons for whom they are responsible may result in billing for the justified cost of repair or replacement, in accordance with the rental agreement, the Terms and Conditions, and the house rules.
Liability & Insurance
Occupants are responsible for their behavior as well as for supervising minors under their responsibility. They must comply with safety rules and have the insurance coverage applicable to their stay when required by the booking conditions.
Non-Compliance with the Rules
Any serious or repeated breach of these rules may result in temporary or permanent prohibition from using the pool or jacuzzi during the stay. Financial consequences related to damage or non-compliance with contractual obligations are handled in accordance with the contract, the Terms and Conditions, the house rules, and the rules applicable to the security deposit.
The pool at Villa Danatea is equipped with a safety alarm. Even when it is active, no device replaces the constant, attentive, and close supervision of a child by a responsible adult.
Any use of the pool or jacuzzi implies compliance with these rules, the house rules, the Terms and Conditions of Villa Danatea, and the safety instructions provided or posted on-site.
